Porridge  (whole wheat)

This cracked wheat and milk is a delicious hot breakfast cereal, it has a creamy texture kind of like rice pudding, and is similar to the Indian dessert meetha dalia.

Ingredients

milk cracked wheat sugar salt cinnamon

Easy to make!

Bring the milk to a simmer in a large saucepan. Whisk in the rest of the ingredients.

Simmer, stir occasionally, for 20-25 minutes or until the wheat is tender.

Top with your favorite fruit, nuts or yogurt
