Whole Wheat Pancakes

Whole wheat pancakes are easy to make and so delicious. This recipe makes the fluffiest pancakes. Whole wheat pancakes are a great way to add more nutrients and fiber to your diet.  

Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour Baking Powder Baking Soda Salt Buttermilk Egg Oil

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1: Whisk the dry ingredients together in a medium size mixing bowl.

Step 2: Add the wet ingredients and whisk until combined. If the batter is super thick you can add a little more buttermilk or regular milk.

Step 3: Heat a griddle or frying pan to medium-low heat. Add a small coating of oil. Add pancake batter and cook for 2-3 minutes, flip when small bubbles appear on top and the bottom is browned.

Step 4: Cook another 2-3 minutes or until the tops spring back when lightly pressed with a finger.
